I have a passion for Nature and I love to shoot high definition nature photos on my worldwide travels. Nature is so varied and surprising, I never tire of trying to capture its beauty through photography, be it sunset pictures over mountains, scenery landscape pictures, butterflies, birds, flowers or Marine life. I have hiked in many places and when I lived in the New York metropolitan area I loved to hike in Harriman State Park. I took many scenery landscape pictures and sunset pictures over mountains in the park, in all seasons. When possible I love to shoot in high definition. Nature photos are one of the things that really excite me as a photographer. In this gallery you will see scenery landscape pictures of Frederick Sound and the Inside Passage of Alaska and sunset pictures over mountains and the ocean and photos Humpback whales. In late summer the Inside Passage is a wonderful place to observe Humpback Whales on their return from Hawaii. They are mostly mothers and their young calves at the end of a long journey of thousands of miles. They are there by the hundreds and while the observer sees mostly tails there are many thrilling moments when the huge whales shoot up in a spectacular breach. Shooting a breach is an incredibly exciting moment for a photographer. |
